Each group of students will work to create a complete integrated marketing communications campaign for a company/organization/non-for-profit. They will do a significant amount of research to acquire information about the organization, competitors, environment which will help them design a campaign that is tailored to company’ needs. The goals and the budget for the marketing communications campaign is provided by the organization.

Attracting talent is challenging enough, so what are you doing to retain your talent? In order to retain talent, your organization must have a robust training and development program. In this project, students will apply current theory and practice for employee training and development within an organizational setting. Students will examine a full spectrum of training and development praxis, from basic on-the-job training to the use of technology and blended approaches to corporate training, development and succession planning. Upon completion of the project, you will receive a detailed report and presentation.

Beginning this September, student-consultants will conduct an in-depth strategic analysis of your organization's external and internal environments, identify your company's strategic options and formulate a series of recommendations to maximize your organization's long-term performance and profits in the face of uncertainty and competition. Student-consultant groups will address an open-ended engineering design problem your organization faces under the guidance of a faculty member with specific expertise in the problem area. Project needs to be appropriate for 2nd Year Engineering students and capable of being completed in about 9 weeks. Opportunities for students to apply Engineering Science (Statics, Dynamics, Strength of Materials, Electric Circuits, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics , etc.) knowledge to the project is the primary objective of the design exercise.

One international target market will be chosen after an analysis of industry landscape, socioeconomic trends, cultural, regulatory, and financial analysis. We are particularly interested in environmental-related (land, water, pollution, conservation, waste reduction, etc.) projects as our students include both business students and environment science students.
Fall 2021 Strategic Management Decisions

Using strategic analysis tools (for example, SWOT analysis) our 4th year Commerce students will review and analyse a business challenge for your organization through exploring the interdependencies between organizational functions and the environment. The students will define the problem, conduct a comprehensive situation analysis, formulate alternatives and recommend a strategy and implementation plan.
Advanced Management Control Project

Does your organization have a management accounting challenge you want to tackle? In this project, student-consultants, working in teams of 4, will apply their accounting skills in managerial decision-making towards a challenge in the areas of decision models, performance evaluation and budget preparation and financial analysis to a challenge of your choosing. Our students will work with your organization to address specific issues and provide actionable recommendations.

Do you have a Digital Marketing challenge you would like to tackle? The Internet is dramatically changing the way in which businesses interact and deliver value to customers and to the entire supply chain. Nowhere is this more evident than in the field of marketing. In this course, student-consultants will develop an Internet marketing strategy to drive more traffic, customer leads, and/or online sales. The students come with knowledge of all major aspects of digital marketing, including selling products and services online, search engine optimization, social media marketing, and executing pay per click advertising. They synthesize this understanding to apply digital marketing principles, techniques and tools towards developing more effective and complete marketing programs.

Virtual Internship Opportunity in Web Design & E-Commerce: Bring on one more students from Bishop's University to be your Web Design & E-Commerce interns, in a project-based experience. Students will work on one or more web design or virtual commerce projects of your choosing over the internship period, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Students are available for placement from June 22, 2020 to December 1, 2020. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, student placements will only occur virtually.
