Project Examples

Beginning this September, student-consultants in groups of 4 or 5 will spend approximately 40 to 50 hours per team working to develop or improve a recruitment and selection program for your organization.

Based on your unique needs and challenges, the group recommendations will help you attract and select the right people for your organization.

Example project topics include:

  • Strategic staffing and legal compliance.
  • Job analysis and employee recruitment/selection planning.
  • Internal and external recruitment.
  • Internal and external selection (screening, testing, and etc.).
  • Decision making in staffing.
Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Provide feedback to student teams during check-in meetings and in response to students' email check-ins, to ensure teams are on the right track and expectations are aligned.

Minimum of 2-4 interactions with the students in-person or remotely (approximately 4 hours over the duration of the project).

Provide a dedicated contact who will be available to answer periodic emails or phone calls over the duration of the project to address student’s questions or provide additional information.

Be available for a quick phone call with the organizer to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for the experience.

Provide students with the answers and information requested within 24 hours.
