In this project, students will embark on a creative journey to design book covers for a collection of eight philosophy titles. The goal is to create visually compelling and thematically relevant designs that resonate with each book's core philosophical ideas. Students will apply their artistic skills and conceptual understanding to capture the essence of each title, ensuring that the covers are not only aesthetically pleasing but also intellectually engaging. This project provides an opportunity for students to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, as they explore the intersection of art and philosophy. By the end of the project, students will have developed a portfolio of professional-quality book covers that demonstrate their ability to convey complex ideas through visual design.

Studio C&G Inc. is seeking to enhance its user research capabilities by developing a Figma prototype based on an existing tool. The goal is to create a user-friendly and visually appealing prototype that can be used for conducting effective user research. This project will allow learners to apply their design and prototyping skills, gained from their coursework, to a real-world scenario. The project involves understanding the existing tool, identifying key features, and translating them into a Figma prototype. Additionally, the project aims to create a library of maintainable components that can be easily adjusted for various testing scenarios. This library will ensure that the prototype remains flexible and adaptable for future user research needs.

We curate teams of 3 - 4 UX Designers for four week projects. Springboard designers are at the very end of their 6-9 month UI/UX Design curriculum, mentor guided, and come from careers in varying industries before enrolling in our UI/UX Design program to make career pivots or upskill.

Students from diverse backgrounds will take an in-depth view into the Partner’s business process surrounding analytics problems and provide viable solutions to tackle them. Students will work on this as a part of this course and will not be considered employees or interns for your organization.

What IT system improvements, new technologies, or evaluation projects can you implement to help you achieve your business goals? In this project, a team of graduate school Information Technology students will help you develop a solution for an IT challenge or opportunity you may be facing. Projects fall into one of the following areas of specialization- cybersecurity, cloud computing, data analytics, project management or general IT. Faculty and Staff work in advance of the course to identify and vet projects for learners. This process involves meeting with companies, identifying the need and envisioning a scope that fits the course (in terms of specialization, length and depth). About our students- Our students are primarily adult learners and although they will have slightly different abilities and skillsets, many of our students come to Capella with years of experience in their field of study or other professions.
