What is the main goal for this project?

The main goal for the project is to support the automation of Synclusiv Inc.'s employee inclusion assessment reporting tool. This will involve several different steps for the learners, including:


- Understanding the current employee inclusion assessment tool and its manual processes.


- Identifying areas within the tool that can be automated to improve efficiency and accuracy.


- Developing software or tools to automate the assessment process.


- Testing the automated tool and making necessary improvements based on feedback.


What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

By the end of the project, learners should complete the following tasks:


- Analysis of the employee inclusion assessment tool and its manual processes.


- Development of an automated tool or software for the assessment reporting process.


- Testing and refining the automated tool based on feedback.



Final deliverables should include:


- All source materials related to the automated tool.


- A written report explaining the automation process and outcomes.


How will you support learners in completing the project?

The team will support and supervise the intern in understanding the existing tool to be automated and will support testing of the automated solution. The intern will be integrated into the team meetings so they can gain an understanding of how a consulting firm works and to gain a deeper understanding of DE&I.

What skills or technologies will help learners to complete the project?

In order to successfully complete this project, learners should have or be willing to learn:


- Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion concepts.


- Software development skills.


- Testing and quality assurance skills.


- Ability to work with stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback.
