What is the main goal for this project?

The main objective of this project is to develop a comprehensive market expansion strategy for Nomie, enabling an effective and profitable entry into the English-speaking Canadian market. Students will be required to conduct a thorough analysis of various market aspects, identify the most conducive province for expansion, determine an optimal pricing structure, and devise a targeted outreach plan. Ultimately, the aim is to provide Nomie with a detailed action plan, backed by extensive research, to succeed in its expansion into English-speaking Canada, maximizing growth opportunities while minimizing risks.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

To achieve this goal, students will need to:

  1. Perform a market analysis to understand the business landscape, current trends, and consumer needs in English-speaking Canada.
  2. Identify and evaluate provinces with the highest potential for Nomie's expansion, considering factors such as market size, demographics, and competition.
  3. Develop a pricing strategy that aligns Nomie’s perceived value with the expectations of the target market, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
  4. Design a customized outreach plan for each selected province, including marketing and communication strategies tailored to regional specifics.
  5. Propose measures to assess the performance of the market expansion, including key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor success and adjust the strategy as needed.







How will you support learners in completing the project?

During the collaboration, a company representative will be accessible for a weekly check-in meeting at minimum and will respond in a timely manner to address any issues impeding the progress of the design team.


Designers will have the opportunity to present and deliberate on their work in job search materials.


A company representative will be at hand for a preliminary discussion with the course administrator to assess and discuss the project's scope.
