Our company has thousands of existing customers. We want to engage customers through a forum, so we can answer common questions and discuss our products.

We would like to collaborate with students to develop such a forum for our company.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

• Familiarizing themselves with our platform, target market, products and services.
• Researching and selecting suitable software for our forum website.
• Organizing the forum and identifying relevant topics.
• Creating user rules for the forum.
• Considering ways to increase customer engagement in the forum.

Bonus steps in the process would also include:

• Recommending future features to implement in the forum.

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

• Familiarity with our platform, target market, products and services
• Selection of suitable software for the website
• Organization of the forum through topic classification
• Creation of user rules
• Consideration of ways to increase customer engagement

Bonus steps would include:

• Recommending features to implement in the future

Final deliverables should include

• A final report.
• A presentation.

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

• Our platform, target market, products and services
• Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.

In order to complete this project, students can self-teach, but it is beneficial to be familiar with:
