Our company has dozens of employees with diverse backgrounds and experiences. We have implemented an employee benefits program to elevate their overall well-being.

We would like to work with students to review our current program and recommend areas for improvement.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

• Identifying our objectives and conducting a needs assessment.
• Recommending changes to our program considering budget constraints and employee feedback.
• Creating a communication strategy to inform employees of benefits.
• Developing a periodic evaluation process to assess the effectiveness of our program.

Bonus steps in the process would also include:

• Assisting in implementing the communication strategy.

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

• Identification of objectives
• Recommendation of program changes
• Creation of a communication strategy and periodic evaluation process

Bonus steps would include:

• Assisting in implementing the recommended changes

Final deliverables should include

• A final report.
• A presentation.

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

• Our current employee benefits program
• Employee benefits programs in other companies
• Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.

In order to complete this project, students can self-teach, but it is beneficial to be familiar with:

• Employee benefits programs

Again, students can complete this project without any of the prior knowledge listed here. Students will be expected to research and learn more about the above as the project goes along.
