At Felix and Fido at Home Nursing Care LTD, we are passionate about deepening our engagement with the pet care community and elevating our brand's visibility through social media. While we have been consistent with our content delivery, there's a pressing need for a structured, organic growth strategy coupled with proactive online community participation.


With this in mind, we are seeking a talented individual who is not only capable of formulating a robust social media strategy but also dedicated to executing it in practice. This dual role requires a strategy that not only capitalizes on our existing content but also uncovers new avenues for interactions and increased visibility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in digital marketing and social media management, with a commitment to reflecting our company’s objectives in their work.


This exciting project also requires skilfully blending veterinary insights with our social media efforts to resonate with our target audiences, reflecting both our expertise and dedication to pet care. We are looking for someone who can bring this strategy to life, ensuring that every post, comment, and engagement truly amplifies our vision for serving the pet community.


Our aim is to find an individual who embraces this challenge with creativity and enthusiasm, able to pioneer this crucial aspect of our brand's growth.

Deliverables

Social Media Strategy Development:


Craft a detailed social media strategy document outlining objectives, target audience, platforms, content calendar, engagement tactics, and growth goals.


Present a report on competitor analysis and market trends within the pet care social media space.


Content Planning and Execution (we are currently using Feedbird for our social media content and scheduling):


Develop a monthly content calendar that includes post schedules, themes, and formats tailored to each platform.


Create or curate high-quality images, videos, and text posts that align with the brand voice and strategy.


Community Engagement:


Actively participate in veterinary and pet groups, initiating conversations, and responding to comments to boost engagement.


Engage with other posts, share relevant content, and maintain a consistent brand presence.

Performance Analysis:


Prepare weekly and monthly analytics reports to assess engagement, growth metrics, and strategy effectiveness.


Provide recommendations for strategy adjustments based on data-driven insights.


Veterinary Knowledge Integration:


Collaborate with our veterinary team to integrate professional knowledge and advice into social media content, ensuring the value and accuracy of shared information.


Keep abreast of the latest developments in veterinary medicine to inform content creation.

Our range of services includes medication delivery, akin to a travel pharmacist, as well as in-home palliative care for pets nearing the end of life, and support with post-operative recovery, and of course all the care in between (sanitary shaves, nail trims, anal gland expressions, etc). Pet owners can easily access our platform to find and book thoroughly vetted and verified RVTs in their area, ensuring that only the most experienced and qualified professionals attend to their beloved animals. Over the past four years, we have navigated the regulatory landscape to establish a new branch of veterinary care, successfully building a client base and assembling a team of reputable Registered Veterinary Technicians (nurses) to deliver exceptional care through our platform.

As we transition from our startup phase into a critical growth period, I find myself wearing multiple hats and actively seeking opportunities to delegate responsibilities to capable hands. This approach will not only help alleviate my workload but also pave the way for additional employment opportunities within our company.
