MEDICSTOX, a company specializing in medical supplies, aims to enhance its digital marketing strategy to increase brand visibility and customer engagement. The current marketing efforts have not fully leveraged digital platforms, leading to missed opportunities in reaching potential clients. The goal of this project is to develop a comprehensive digital marketing plan that aligns with MEDICSTOX's business objectives and targets key demographics effectively. Learners will analyze current marketing trends, evaluate MEDICSTOX's existing digital presence, and identify areas for improvement. The project will focus on optimizing social media strategies, enhancing content marketing, and improving search engine optimization (SEO) practices. By applying classroom knowledge in digital marketing, learners will help MEDICSTOX strengthen its online presence and attract a broader audience.

Deliverables

The deliverables for this project include a detailed digital marketing strategy document outlining proposed enhancements and actionable steps. This document will cover social media optimization plans, content marketing strategies, and SEO improvement tactics. Additionally, learners will present a report analyzing MEDICSTOX's current digital marketing efforts and provide recommendations for future growth. Medicstox – We make buying scrubs and chefcoats simple!

Medicstox is owned by husband and wife team, Abralin and Sharmaine Tiaga.
The idea for this business started through Sharmaine working in the medical industry and wearing scrubs that did not reflect her own style and were of poor quality. Finding good quality scrubs that did not look like pyjamas or worse made her feel frumpy was a chore, either driving into Toronto and beyond or buying them online at premium prices.
So Medicstox started in 2007 with humble beginnings, working out of our house and moving into a retail store location in 2011.
We are the first exclusive uniform and accessories retail store in Durham. Our mission: to be a one-stop shop that carries high quality, stylish, exciting and fashionable brands.
We started with the belief that the Uniform Retail sector really needs to stand out locally, to be unique, and THE place to go to for uniforms. We wanted to make it easy for our clients to get the uniforms they wanted. We hand select each style and offer curated selections so that client’s individuality is valued. It’s about learning our client’s styles and needs and building great relationships with them!

Having uniforms available locally, makes it easy for you to buy online or in store at fair prices. There is a large selection and they are affordable for all.
We cater to all industries using uniforms such as health care professionals, chefs, dental/vet clinics, therapists, salons, cleaning services and medical students.

Future Plans
Strengthen our ecommerce platform and social media presence.

Expand our product lines to include innovative materials such as materials that contain antimicrobial and fluid barrier technologies. This is ground breaking as there are many concerns about hospital-acquired infections, making the work of the healthcare worker fraught with dangers.
