Coach House Designs is seeking to diversify its market presence by expanding its business operations into Canada and Europe. Currently, 90% of the company's business is concentrated in the United States, which poses a risk due to market fluctuations and potential trade barriers. The goal of this project is to develop a strategic plan that will effectively redirect and promote Coach House Designs' offerings to Canadian and European markets. This involves analyzing market trends, identifying potential customer segments, and understanding regional preferences. The project will also explore digital marketing strategies and partnerships that can facilitate a smooth transition into these new markets. Deliverables

I design quilt patterns for fabric manufacturers in the US which are used in their marketing materials to sell their fabrics. The patterns are also sold generally in the industry to quilters in the US, Canada and in several countries abroad. 90% of my sales are to the US which will be significantly impacted by tariffs. My patterns are sold to distributors, wholesale customers and retail customers. I have a retail and wholesale site for the US and a separate retail and wholesale site for Canada and the rest of the world. My patterns are also sold on Etsy and Faire, and sales funnels on Pinterest, Facebook and Instagram.
