mathematics data compilation graphic design infographics data analysis visualizationThe Estes Park Learning Place aims to analyze and visualize a year's worth of data on student improvement in reading and math, collected from fall 2023 through fall 2024. The project involves compiling data from initial and follow-up reading assessments, as well as GED exam scores, to evaluate student progress. Additionally, the project will incorporate data on donors, grants, and funding to provide a comprehensive overview of the center's impact and financial support. The goal is to create an engaging and informative infographic that effectively communicates this data to stakeholders, including educators, donors, and the community. This project provides an opportunity for learners to apply their skills in data analysis, visualization, and graphic design, while gaining insights into educational outcomes and nonprofit funding.
The primary deliverable for this project is a professionally designed infographic that showcases student progress in reading and math, along with data on donors, grants, and funding. The infographic should be visually appealing and easy to understand, effectively conveying the center's impact. Additional deliverables include a brief report summarizing the data analysis process and key findings, as well as a presentation to share the results with Estes Park Learning Place stakeholders.
Direct involvement in project tasks, offering guidance, and demonstrating techniques.

About the company
Founded in 1998 as an innovative skill-building center for learners of all ages, the Estes Park Learning Place became a charitable non-profit organization in February of 2002 and serves the greater Estes Valley community. The Learning Place offers one-to-one tutoring which strives to meet students at their current level, create a learning plan based on individual learning styles and needs, and cultivate students’ learning so they may reach their highest potential.
