FutureCareer.net works with IT professionals and job seekers looking to land their next dream job in US or Canada. However, we currently rely on manual processes with our customers that is slowing the journey and customer progress. Job seekers would like to get real time support on all questions related to their journey from an expert coach anytime.

The goal of this project is to develop a Job Seeker Assessment Tool with an integrated chatbot, offering personalized feedback and action plans to help users in their job search journey. The project will involve the development of both a lightweight and a full version of the tool.

Tasks and Activities: Students will engage in the following activities to meet the project goal:

  1. Research and Technology Selection:
  • Investigate and select technologies for chat applications and assessment tools.
  • Recommend the best technologies for real-time feedback and interaction.
  1. Wireframes and User Interface Design:
  • Create wireframes in Figma to demonstrate the user interface and user flow.
  1. Development and Testing:
  • Develop the lightweight assessment tool integrated with a chatbot powered by ChatGPT.
  • Perform testing, including unit and integration tests, to ensure functionality.
  1. Documentation and Final Deliverables:
  • Create detailed documentation on the technologies used, wireframes, and system architecture.
  • Submit source code via a version control system like GitHub.
  • Present the final product to stakeholders, including recommendations for future scalability.

Bonus Steps:

  • • • Enhance the chatbot with advanced AI features, such as personalized job search guidance.
Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

  • Understanding of technologies currently used for chat applications
  • The reasoning behind chosen technologies
  • Documentation of models and attributes used
  • Plans and recommendations for implementation

Bonus steps would include:

  • Developing an automated chatbot

Final deliverables should include

  • A final report.
  • A presentation.
  • Source code for the system, preferably in a source control system such as Git.
