Details

Street Charity aims to improve its online engagement and visibility through a series of targeted website enhancements. The primary goal is to enhance the user experience on their existing WordPress site, StreetCharity.org, by optimizing the shopping cart interface and streamlining news postings. Additionally, the project seeks to create an interactive webpage where customers and donors can upload their Instagram and TikTok videos, showcasing their support for the charity. This feature will foster a sense of community and encourage more user-generated content. Lastly, the project will focus on improving the website's SEO to increase its reach and attract more visitors. By applying classroom knowledge of web development and digital marketing, learners will contribute to a meaningful cause while gaining practical experience.

Deliverables

The project will deliver a revamped user interface for the shopping cart and news sections of the website, ensuring a seamless user experience. A new webpage will be developed to allow direct uploads of social media videos by users, enhancing community engagement. Additionally, an SEO strategy will be implemented to boost the website's search engine ranking. These deliverables will collectively enhance Street Charity's digital presence and engagement.
