Project scope

What is the main goal for this project?: The main goal of this project is to plan, implement, manage, monitor and upgrade security measures for the protection of our application's data, server resources and network.

We are developing a marketplace sync tool, our web application is hosted on a server and uses a database, we need to ensure that our database is secured and the application has high-security ratings, also we need to ensure that the server resources are secured.
What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?: This will involve several different steps for the learners, including:

Analyzing the existing security measures of our company and creating/offering suggestions for our security policy
Analyzing networks and systems and assessing areas for improvement
Researching other security measures that can be implemented
Review the process for vulnerability testing and help develop any best proactive policies to keep up with the current cybersecurity landscape
Detecting and analyzing any incidents, reviewing incident reporting, and creating an incident response plan
