Details

Barter Marketplace, a client of LaunchPath Inc., seeks to enhance its platform's usability by transforming its current website into a functional, user-centred prototype. This project focuses on designing and testing core user flows—such as AI-based service matching, listings, and multi-party barter loops—to improve the experience for freelancers and small businesses. The student will conduct user research, develop wireframes, and build a clickable prototype aligned with Barter’s business-to-freelancer (B2F) model. The final deliverable will support Barter Marketplace’s product development roadmap and ensure the platform meets the needs of its target users.

Deliverables

The student will deliver a functional, interactive prototype of the Barter Marketplace website featuring redesigned user flows for AI-powered matching, service listings, and multi-party barter loops. Deliverables will include a comprehensive report outlining the design process, user research findings, and usability testing outcomes. The prototype should reflect improved platform usability aligned with the B2F value proposition. A final presentation will summarize key insights, project outcomes, and actionable recommendations for future development.
