The objective of this project is to conduct a competitive SEO analysis for Atome Bakery, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities in organic search compared to five key competitors in the U.S. and Canada. Students will analyze competitor keyword rankings, backlink profiles, content strategies, and technical SEO elements to provide actionable recommendations for improving Atome Bakery’s search engine visibility.


Tasks & Activities:

Competitor Identification & Research: Identify five major competitors in the bakery and DTC food sector.

Keyword Research & Gap Analysis: Compare Atome Bakery’s keyword rankings with competitors, identifying opportunities for growth.

On-Page SEO Audit: Evaluate technical SEO, meta tags, content structure, internal linking, and site speed.

Backlink & Off-Page SEO Analysis: Assess Atome Bakery’s backlink profile, identify competitor link-building strategies, and propose high-quality acquisition opportunities.

Local SEO & SERP Analysis: Examine Google My Business performance, citations, and review strategies of competitors.

SEO Strategy & Roadmap: Develop a 3-6 month action plan with clear recommendations for content optimization, link-building, and organic growth.
