- What is the main goal for this project?

We have a booking engine that has been launched and operational for over 1 year (booking.torontoboutiqueapartments.com).
We are in the process of converting the existing booking engine into a marketplace and launching MVP1 of the marketplace project. The project is built on NodeJS with React frontend and MongoDB for the database (hosted on MongoDB Atlas).
The main goal for the project is to continue developing this marketplace into a successful Property Management Software (PMS) with specific features required by our company. The purpose of these features will be to allow homeowners to manage their properties seamlessly on our platform.
- What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

Tasks for learners to complete include:
- Adding or improving features to transform the marketplace into a successful PMS.
- Working with the developer to develop specific features required by the company.
- Testing and making improvements to the marketplace and PMS based on additional data and user feedback
Final deliverables should include:
- A fully functional marketplace with improved features
- Documentation of added or improved features
- Testing results and user feedback analysis

We will have a dedicated developer that the learner will take tasks from. The developer will be available to provide feedback and help in case the learner is stuck with specific tasks.
Access to any necessary developing softwares will be provided during the project.

- Proficiency in NodeJS, React, and MongoDB
- Frontend and backend development skills
- Experience with marketplace development is a plus
