Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

The main goal for the project is to explore the feasibility of developing in house software for My Student Wellbeing, as opposed to using third party software. This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

- Understanding the current software being used and its limitations.

- Researching the requirements and potential features for in house software.

- Analyzing the potential costs and resources needed for in house software development.

- Developing a prototype or proof of concept for the in house software or providing the blueprint for us to understand how we can move forward with an in house solution

- Testing the prototype and gathering feedback from stakeholders.

- Presenting a feasibility report with recommendations for moving forward.

The type of software is a project management software for a health practice, where health providers can set their schedule, clients can book with them and search for a relevant provider, there would be integrated video sessions, automated invoicing, billing features, and more. Will need to create different user permissions based on the role of the user. More information about the software can be provided.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

By the end of the project, students could complete the following list of activities:

- A comprehensive analysis of the current software being used and its limitations.

- A detailed list of requirements and potential features for the in house software.

- An estimation of costs and resources needed for in house software development.

- A prototype or proof of concept for the in house software.

- Feedback from stakeholders on the prototype.

- A feasibility report with recommendations for moving forward.

Final deliverables:

- A written feasibility report with detailed analysis and recommendations.

- A presentation summarizing the findings and recommendations.

How will you support learners in completing the project?

Direct contact with the CEO and regular meetings, in addition to additional meetings as required by the students. We want to ensure the students feel supported and have an open line of communication and time they need.

What skills or technologies will help learners to complete the project?

In order to complete this project, students can self-teach, but it is beneficial to be familiar with:

- Software development concepts and methodologies.

- Requirements gathering and analysis.

- Cost estimation and resource planning.

- Prototyping and testing.

- Report writing and presentation skills.

Nice to haves for students include
