Hey there! Excited to have you checking out my profile. I'm always up for connecting with new people to share ideas, brainstorm, or see how we can help each other grow. So please connect with me on LinkedIn if you're interested in chatting!

I come from the wonderfully warm land of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada (who needs to be around mountains when you can go snowboarding in your backyard?). With a Bachelor of Social Work and working on my Master of Business Admin (MBA), I have a mixture of education which will help me move forward ventures which will positively impact society.

I'm currently in the process of launching My Student Wellbeing, which I hope will have a significant impact in educating Canadian students about mental health and wellbeing, while also providing them with access to mental health supports.

There's lots of opportunities to socialize, yet lots of students struggle to develop friendships and they struggle with loneliness. We want to change this! We're looking for students to provide innovative strategies for us to help create opportunities for students to develop new connections and friendships.

Mobile App Development for My Student Wellbeing

The main goal for the project is to create a mobile app that links users to the My Student Wellbeing website. The app would later include information to educate post-secondary students in Canada on their mental health and wellbeing, as well as provide a platform where students can connect with mental health clinicians for one to one virtual counseling. This project proposal can be taken in a few different ways depending on the scope of the course project. It can focus on coding the app, designing the UI, or brainstorming the type of content that would be beneficial to have on this app. This could involve several different steps for the students, including:- Understanding the goals and mission of My Student Wellbeing.- Designing and developing the mobile app interface.- Integrating features to provide mental health information and connect students with mental health clinicians.- Ensuring the app is user-friendly and accessible for post-secondary students.- Planning for the future transition of the website to a mobile app.
