Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

Embark on a visionary journey to reimagine governance models through a broader lens of dimensional problem-solving, infusing them with resilience, adaptability, and enduring empowerment. Across five transformative phases, we'll sculpt governance frameworks at the level of bylaws and policies, with the constitution as our bedrock. These frameworks will not only endure turnover but flourish amidst it, fostering robust relationships with other governing bodies. Our mission is to equip our partner organization and others like it with dynamic structures that empower individuals as represented members, embrace change and uncertainty, and uphold interconnectedness, all within the context of dimensional problem-solving.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

The project is comprised of five phases of work. We envision this as an iterative journey that will adapt and shift to account for shifts in knowledge gained and lessons learned in the process.

**Phase 1: Resilient Foundation Building**

Duration: 60 hours

Forge a resilient foundation for governance structures, ensuring they're poised to evolve. Analyze current models, identifying vulnerabilities, and lay the groundwork for enduring relationships with external bodies. Potential Deliverables:

- Define key governance terms within the context of dimensional problem-solving.

- Incorporate versatile terminology from existing documents into the assessment.

- Examine existing relationships and responsibilities through a multidimensional perspective.

- Investigate operating boundaries as per existing governing documents, integrating dimensional problem-solving approaches.

- Establish a conduit for regular feedback from the executive team at each phase.

**Phase 2: Adaptive Framework Development**

Duration: 60 hours

Craft adaptive governance frameworks capable of fluid evolution within a multidimensional landscape. Design models prioritizing continuity and innovation, nurturing resilient relationships with other governing entities. Potential Deliverables:

- Develop standardized templates for governance documents, aligning with dimensional problem-solving principles.

- Establish dynamic digital document organization systems for efficient adaptation.

- Cultivate a living document incorporating evolving concepts, reflecting dimensional problem-solving dynamics.

- Gather stakeholder feedback, leveraging diverse perspectives to enrich governance evolution.

- Synthesize historical context and future objectives within a multidimensional framework.

- Redefine onboarding as a "Foundations Boot Camp," fostering inclusive and intensive orientation within a dimensional problem-solving context.

**Phase 3: Relationship-Centric Documentation**

Duration: 60 hours

Document governance principles through a multidimensional lens, fostering transparency and collaboration amidst complexity. Potential Deliverables:

- Foster multidimensional perspectives through collaboration with stakeholders.

- Explore diverse organizational models to inform multidimensional governance approaches.

- Solicit member input, leveraging a spectrum of viewpoints to inform governance strategies.

- Establish a conduit for regular feedback from the executive team at each phase.

**Phase 4: Strategic Recommendation Formulation**

Duration: 60 hours

Formulate strategic recommendations that elevate governance models within a multidimensional context. Potential Deliverables:

- Solicit executive feedback at each phase, ensuring alignment with dimensional problem-solving principles.

- Revise executive responsibilities and position descriptions through a multidimensional lens.

- Examine organizational boundaries within a multidimensional framework.

- Establish a conduit for regular feedback from the executive team at each phase.

**Phase 5: Cohesive Integration Assurance**

Duration: 60 hours

Ensure cohesive integration of governance models within a multidimensional landscape, fostering enduring relationships and alignment with overarching goals. Potential Deliverables:

- Incorporate stakeholder feedback to ensure governance models resonate within a multidimensional framework.

- Review and refine documentation through a multidimensional lens, promoting consistency and accessibility.

- Establish a conduit for regular feedback from the executive team at each phase, fostering ongoing alignment with dimensional problem-solving principles.

- Implement strategies for continuous improvement and adaptation within the governance framework, reflecting the iterative nature of dimensional problem-solving.

How will you support learners in completing the project?

The Dimensional Governance Strategist will be part of a Standing Committee that includes members of the executive of our partner organization. They will lead the charge on this development and be provided the opportunity to see their academic work in theory become practice in a real-time, iterative and empowering manner. This role is a direct to client model that shows how our organization embodies its nature of 'ampersand' by bringing together that which is made stronger through relationship.

The remote work will be conducted with access to the full Microsoft 365 suite and a Canva Pro account to create necessary visuals.

We push beyond the boundaries of duty to accommodate and meet this as a right for accessibility and will work with the student to ensure the environment is crafted to suit their needs and wants to have a fulfilling experience.
