Details

The main objective of this project is to design and build a comprehensive reporting dashboard for The Thread, a platform that supports talent agencies and creators in managing brand partnerships.

This dashboard will provide key performance insights through interactive data widgets, filters, and detailed reporting views. It will help users make informed business decisions and track progress toward revenue goals.

Learners will engage in the following tasks and activities:

  • Collaborate with our team to understand data sources, user needs, and UI/UX requirements
  • Design the structure and layout of the dashboard, including high-level summary widgets and detailed reporting pages
  • Develop filters for team, talent, and timeframes (monthly, quarterly, YTD)
  • Implement calculations for performance metrics, including revenue attribution by team member and weekly billing snapshots
  • Build logic for multi-market reporting, converting all currencies to USD for unified totals

Key deliverables include:

  • A functional and responsive reporting dashboard integrated with test or sample data
  • Widget components for high- and low-performing talent, goal tracking, billing comparisons, and attribution breakdowns
  • Filter functionality and visualizations (tables, charts, etc.)
  • Documentation outlining the structure, logic, and any integration steps

The goal is to develop a production-ready tool, pending final review by our internal development team.

Deliverables

Learners are expected to complete the following tasks and deliverables:

  • Design and build a reporting dashboard UI that includes high-level data widgets and detailed reporting views
  • Develop filtering capabilities to view data by individual talent, team, and timeframes (monthly, quarterly, YTD)
  • Implement logic for revenue attribution, showing what percentage of a talent’s earnings is driven by each team member
  • Create a widget to track current month billings, with comparisons to the average monthly billings
  • Build weekly billing snapshots to visualize performance trends throughout the month
  • Support multi-market financial reporting, converting all currencies to USD for a unified view across regions
  • Deliver a working, interactive prototype or fully functional module that can be integrated into the existing platform
  • Provide documentation explaining how the dashboard works, including data inputs, logic, and any setup required

These deliverables will support our goal of giving agencies and managers real-time visibility into campaign performance and financial health.
