The Cake app is gearing up for its launch in September 2025, and the primary goal of this project is to craft and execute a marketing strategy that ensures a successful market introduction. The project aims to identify and engage with potential local business sponsors and strategic partners to enhance the app's visibility and encourage early adoption. By focusing on local businesses, the project seeks to create a network of supporters who can amplify the app's reach within the community. The team will research potential partners, analyze their alignment with Cake's brand values, and develop tailored engagement plans. This project provides an opportunity for learners to apply their marketing knowledge in a real-world context, focusing on strategic partnership development and community engagement.

Deliverables
  • The project deliverables include a comprehensive marketing strategy document outlining potential local business sponsors and strategic partners. Additionally, the team will create engagement plans for each identified partner, detailing specific actions and timelines. A presentation summarizing the strategy and expected outcomes will also be prepared for stakeholders. These deliverables will demonstrate the team's ability to apply marketing principles to real-world challenges. Below are the additional deliverables.


  • Research successful marketing strategies, especially for apps and senior communities.


  • Design a guerrilla marketing campaign targeting 55+ condo/apartment residents.
