What is the main goal for this project?

Ever & Ivy is a recently launched new jewellery collection created for the person who appreciates sophisticated, high-quality gold /rhodium-plated jewellery that is indistinguishable from solid yellow and white gold.

The target audience is 35+, with high disposable income, who loves the new heavier styles and understands that it would be a significant investment to purchase them in solid gold.

The goal is to create and execute a SM strategy that is fashion-forward, inclusive, and edgy in the channel that will attract the older, wealthier segment of the fashion jewellery market that understands our value proposition: Ever & Ivy is expensive fashion jewellery because it is made to a higher quality, but it is a bargain compared to "solid " gold. ( never use the phrase " real gold" as E & I is made with a thicker plating of real gold).

With minimal paid advertising and influencer usage, the challenge will be to effectively establish awareness of Ever & Ivy to this niche target organically.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:

  • Assist with a social media launch to promote the personality of the brand ( wealthy, style aware, a bit edgy and very high quality)
  • Write blog articles, email newsletters and other content pieces on topics suggested by the student and approved by the manager of this project
  • Evaluate recent successful user-generated campaigns in our sector in order to recommend strategic direction.
  • Identify digital media that are most appropriate to engage this older niche market.
  • Evaluate the potential of having the Founder as spokesperson for the brand vs nano/micro-influencer(s) or other recommendations.
How will you support learners in completing the project?

Students will work closely with the Founder/CCO, who is supervising and available remotely for questions. This will also include regular progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be evaluated and edited as necessary.

It must be noted that the Founder is a solopreneur who is not experienced in creating SM or digital marketing. So this will be an opportunity for the right student(s) to create a direction from scratch with a view to increasing traffic to the website and integrating/enhancing the UX.

What skills or technologies will help learners to complete the project?

A student or team who can think strategically and has excellent writing and digital production skills would be the ideal candidate(s) for this position.

Graphic design skills are an asset.
