What is the main goal for this project?

To provide sales and marketing support in building a pipeline of leads to meet business plans, quotas and company objectives. Responsible for generating leads through phone calls, social media and emails.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

Successful outcomes include a market research, informed by primary data collection. This data should inform a script that outlines key messaging for our customers. Leads should be provided as they are discovered on a daily/weekly basis.

  • Market research on target market and trends to ensure timely prospecting.
  • Prospect high quality leads for the Business Development team to work on.
  • Write engaging, effective email, LinkedIn messages.
  • Conduct cold-calling, social media, and other activities as needed; whatever it takes to connect with leads.
  • Maintain well-organized, up-to-date and accurate sales information and activity reports to submit daily/weekly as leads come up.

How will you support learners in completing the project?

Students will connect directly with the employer for mentorship and supervision throughout the project. Students will have access to company CEO through weekly check-in and phone/email.
