The goal of this project is to create a structured financial forecast for AdaptTO, projecting revenue, expenses, and profitability based on different pricing tiers and user growth assumptions. The insights from this project will support AdaptTO’s business planning and grant applications. By simplifying the financial modeling process, this project ensures that finance and business students can apply their classroom knowledge effectively while working with real-world data.

Revenue Forecasting:

• Estimate revenue based on projected user growth over the next 12 months.
• Analyze three different pricing tiers (e.g., free, mid-tier, premium) and expected user distribution.
• Provide revenue projections for three different growth scenarios (conservative, moderate, aggressive).

Expense Estimation:

• Identify key cost components (e.g., platform maintenance, marketing, operational costs).
• Provide an estimated monthly and annual expense breakdown.

Profitability & Breakeven Analysis:

• Calculate projected gross profit and net profit margins for the first year.
• Identify the breakeven point based on revenue and cost assumptions.

Final Deliverables:

• A financial forecasting model (Excel or Google Sheets) with revenue, expense, and profit projections.
• A 2-page summary report explaining key assumptions, findings, and recommendations.
• A presentation deck (5-7 slides) with key insights, charts, and financial projections.
