email service providers planning newsletters brand management presentations blogs content management marketing materials content development marketingThe goal of this project is to contribute to the planning and execution of Synclusiv’s Marketing and Communications (MARCOM) strategy, enhancing the organization's brand presence and engagement across multiple channels. The intern will focus on creating and refining digital and print content, including managing updates to the website, drafting newsletters, and designing marketing materials such as 1-pagers and templates. Additionally, the intern will support initiatives related to Synclusiv’s podcast, social media campaigns, and speaking engagements, as well as help foster partnerships aligned with the company’s mission of promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in workplaces.
This experience aims to provide the intern with practical skills in integrated marketing communications, content development, and strategic outreach while contributing meaningfully to Synclusiv’s impact and growth.
Website Content Management and Updates
- Review the existing website and suggest improvements for layout, functionality, and user experience.
- Regularly update website content, including blogs, program information, and news.
Newsletter Creation and Distribution
- Draft, edit, and format monthly or bi-weekly newsletters.
- Coordinate distribution through email platforms, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
Design of Marketing Materials
- Create professional 1-pagers and templates for Synclusiv's services and programs.
- Ensure materials are visually engaging and accessible, adhering to the company’s DEI principles.
Social Media Management
- Develop a content calendar and create posts for platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter.
- Monitor engagement metrics and optimize content strategies.
Podcast Coordination
- Assist with podcast planning, including episode topics, guest outreach, and script preparation.
- Support editing and distribution processes across podcast platforms.
Support for Speaking Engagements
- Prepare presentation slides, briefing materials, and speaker notes.
- Coordinate logistics for events and ensure materials align with the company’s messaging.
Partnership Outreach and Collaboration
- Identify potential partners aligned with Synclusiv’s mission.
- Draft outreach emails and proposals to foster new partnerships.
Campaign Analytics and Reporting
- Track and analyze the performance of social media, newsletters, and other MARCOM initiatives.
- Compile insights into monthly reports to inform future strategies.
Providing specialized, in-depth knowledge and general industry insights for a comprehensive understanding.
Sharing knowledge in specific technical skills, techniques, methodologies required for the project.
Direct involvement in project tasks, offering guidance, and demonstrating techniques.
Providing access to necessary tools, software, and resources required for project completion.
Scheduled check-ins to discuss progress, address challenges, and provide feedback.
