Our organization, Hidaayah House, supports youth in vulnerable communities through culturally responsive mental health services, peer support training, and creative outreach programs.

We aim to collaborate with students to amplify our digital presence by sharing impactful stories, promoting our workshops, and increasing traffic to our crisis support services and youth programs.

Learners will:

  • Research and understand our community, mission, and target audience.
  • Review existing marketing materials (social posts, emails, brochures).
  • Draft, schedule, and publish engaging content aligned with our social media calendar.
  • Monitor our digital platforms to ensure timely updates and engagement.
  • Suggest enhancements for SEO and digital marketing strategies.
  • This project will help us reach more at-risk youth and spread awareness about mental health and gun violence prevention through authentic, community-rooted messaging.
Deliverables

Scope & Expectations:

Students will collaborate with our team to develop digital content that reflects our values and promotes our services, especially the Hidaayah Huddle and Crisis Line.


Key Tasks:

  1. Content Creation:
  • Design and write social media posts, emails, and marketing materials highlighting events and success stories.
  • Align content with community voice and needs.
  • Analyze our existing digital footprint.
  • Propose strategies to boost engagement, visibility, and impact.
  1. Platform Management:
  • Schedule and post content.
  • Track engagement and provide weekly performance reports.


Final Deliverables:

  • A digital marketing portfolio that includes all created content and assets.
  • A social media strategy for our instagram, website and linked-in
  • A reflection note summarizing key learnings and the impact of their work and their professional goals
