Our company is in the very crowded beauty category (haircare). We hope to revamp our social media marketing to attract more customers. We would like to work with students to design a new social media marketing campaign for our company.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

  • Familiarizing themselves with our company’s products, social media campaign goals and target market.
  • Planning types of campaign content to create for each channel.
  • Creating video and posts for YouTube, Instagram and TikTok
  • Identifying metrics to monitor throughout the campaign.

Bonus steps in the process would also include:

  • Recommending social media management tools to schedule our content.
Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

  • Understanding of our company’s products and goals
  • Identification of suitable social media channels and strategies
  • Identification of types of campaign content to create
  • Identification of metrics to monitor the campaign’s success
  • Creation of a social media content calendar to organize the campaign

Bonus steps would include:

  • Recommending social media management tools

Final deliverables should include

  • A final report with a social media content calendar.
  • A 10-minute presentation.
