- What is the main goal for this project?

The commercial real estate industry has always been slow to adopt new technology. There is a tremendous opportunity to do things differently, better, with only a few taking advantage and leading charge. This project is to determine who those influencers are locally (primary goal in Toronto), country wide and internationally.
Create and maintain a list of the current top influencers, reporters, blogs and website operating in the commercial real estate sector.

- List of top social media influencers - by platform - locally (Toronto), country wide (Canada) and internationally (with a focus but not limited to North America).
- List of top Commercial Real Estate blogs, news and PR portals.
- Top websites that market Commercial Real Estate availabilities.
- New real estate technology companies making an impact from a Landlord, Brokerage, Agent and Tenant perspective.

An initial list of examples can be provided with daily or weekly calls for support as required.
- What skills or technologies will help learners to complete the project?

Students should know about social media marketing, have a digital footprint of their own, and understand how to use the various main platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Meta (Facebook), Instagram and TIkTok. Ability to recognize business opportunities by identifying what companies or individuals are doing either uniquely or better than the competition.
