In today's work environment, a balance of work and personal wellness is critical from both the personal and organizational perspective. The Occupational Health, Safety, and Wellness (OHSW) graduate program provides a focused body of knowledge and skills for individuals interested in developing and building their knowledge and skills in occupational health, safety, and wellness.In teams of 4-5, students from Conestoga College will connect with your organization with the purpose of performing a Health and Safety related consulting assignment or primary research project. The scope and nature of the project can vary widely but it should be related to the highest level critical thinking outcomes listed in the student's course outlines (critical analysis, assess pros and cons, develop a new program or process).
International Business Management - Consulting Challenge II

Looking to elevate your organization, and bring it to the next level? Bring on students from Conestoga College to be your student-consultants, in a project-based experience. Students will work on one main project over the course of the semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools.Students in this program are learning to manage international business endeavors and work in global companies. The goal is to provide graduates with the ability to bring people, processes, and technology together to achieve improved performance in domestic or international enterprises. An emphasis is placed on effective decision-making through data analytics and the Ivey Case methodology.

This course provides a fundamental, yet comprehensive, coverage of quality management systems and tools used in quality management. Student teams from Conestoga College will work with your organization to analyze a challenge currently affecting your organization and develop a solution that improves quality and/or processes.

In this project, student teams from Conestoga College will apply their business acumen and creativity to develop an International Marketing Plan for your product/service. One international target market will be chosen after analysis of Industry Landscape, Socioeconomic Trends, Cultural, Regulatory, Logistical, and Financial Analysis.
Supply Chain Management - Distribution Planning W22

The health and safety of workers is a top concern especially during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak.Under Ontario law, employers have the duty to keep workers and workplaces safe and free of hazards. The Occupational Health, Safety, and Wellness (OHSW) graduate program provides a focused developing a body of knowledge and skills in Occupational Health, Safety, and Wellness.In teams of 4-5, students from Conestoga College will connect with your organization with the purpose of performing a practical Health and Safety related consulting project. The scope and nature of the project can vary widely and students work remotely with an organization, under the guidance of a company mentor and a faculty member. Projects can come from a wide range of settings, including industrial and manufacturing, municipal government, health care institutions, software companies, utilities, and consultancies.Due to COVID-19 restrictions, student placements will only occur virtually.

This course covers the full training life cycle, including conducting a needs analysis, developing training objectives and training plans, choosing training methods, considering transfer of training in training design, and understanding strategic and international training and development issues.
Public Service Capstone

The Public Service program is a post-graduate certificate program, meaning each of the students has at least a college diploma or university degree. Students in the program hope to work in government or the non-profit sector. The capstone project is a major project completed by teams of four to six students from January to April each semester. The students will spend approximately 40 to 50 hours each on the project, allowing for a substantial amount of work to be completed.
