The Occupational Health, Safety, and Wellness (OHSW) graduate program provides a focused body of knowledge and skills for individuals interested in developing and building their knowledge and skills in occupational health, safety, and wellness.In teams of 4-5, students from Conestoga College will connect with your organization with the purpose of performing a Health and Safety related consulting assignment or primary research project. The scope and nature of the project can vary widely but it should be related to the highest level critical thinking outcomes listed in the student's course outlines (critical analysis, assess pros and cons, develop a new program or process).

The project is the focus of a third-year course in which students work as marketing research consultants for a live client. They work with a ‘client’ to complete a primary marketing research project spanning two semesters. Some of the basic parameters of the project are:Students work in groups for a client to gather information. It is a quantitative, survey-based project. Students also complete in-depth market and competitive analyses. If social media is a current marketing strategy for the client, students will engage in an in-depth review and social media listening exercise to present to the client. In terms of timing, students form into groups in the first few weeks of September to start working on this 2-semester project. Final results and a presentation will be available in April.

A group of capable and self-motivated students in the Predictive Analytics Program are ready to take on challenges from industry, applying the cutting-edge Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies to practical data analytics problems, and aiming at exerting values out of the business data.The group consists of students with various backgrounds in their previous studies - mathematics, statistics, computer science and MBA, and different level of experiences in industry.
