To raise awareness about our organization and the new thrift store that we are opening. We want to engage the community by having them donate their gently used items and/or shop for a cause at our thrift store. This project will entail speaking to community members in person to drive the success of our thrift store. Our thrift store is called "Thrift & Fund" and it is a social enterprise which supports our non-profit organization.

What is Youth Empowering Youth (YEY)?Youth Empowering Youth is a leadership program and movement for children and youth. Our Children’s program is for ages 8-12, and consists of eight 1-hour sessions. Our Youth program is for ages 13-18, and consists of nine 1.5-hour sessions. Video Editing Intern

We are looking for volunteer Video Editors to join our Stories from our Community program team! This program aims to encourage others to share their stories by starting first and sharing from the community, in hopes that it will start conversations, spark connections, and bring us closer together.Your role as a video editing intern will be to create an engaging short that showcases the story of a community member. Your work will be paramount to the success of the program, and must be compelling and accessible to its viewers. After our volunteers conduct an interview on camera with a community member, we will give you the recorded session to edit, and it will be your responsibility to produce a polished final video to us in a timely manner.
