- What is the main goal for this project?

We are looking for an ambitious, self-motivated marketing intern to join our team. The primary goal for this role is to develop and implement a digital marketing strategy to increase our online presence and brand awareness. Student(s) will get a chance to work on social media campaigns, newsletters, curating content, and designing branded promotional material.
- What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

- Research and outline a digital marketing strategy
- Content development: create library of visually appealing and engaging promotional content for email campaigns
- Set-up free online ads (Kijiji, forums, etc.) to drive traffic to our website
- Track marketing effectiveness through engagement numbers
- Draft newsletters regarding upcoming projects and assist with outreach initiatives
- Other potential project: lead generation (commercial and residential customers) and outreach campaign

- How will you support learners in completing the project?

Students will work closely with project manager, Appneet Singh who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary.
- What skills or technologies will help learners to complete the project?

This is a great learning opportunity for any student interested in learning how to run a small business. The project is open to all students; however, a background in business or marketing may be beneficial.
