What is the main goal for this project?

The main goal for the project is to enhance the digital presence and community engagement for License Champs, a Sports and Music license company. This will involve creating and implementing a comprehensive social media management strategy, catalog management, TikTok and Instagram post strategy, reel generation, and UGC community building. The aim is to effectively monetize famous IP like Billy Joel, MLBPA, Iconic Artist Group, and more through digital and soft goods.


What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?


- Develop a social media management strategy for TikTok and Instagram


- Create a catalog management plan for the company's products and services


- Generate a strategy for creating engaging reels on social media platforms


- Implement a UGC community building plan to increase engagement and brand loyalty


- Monitor and analyze the performance of the implemented strategies and make necessary adjustments


How will you support learners in completing the project?

Interns will learn firsthand how to operate a successful e-commerce store and develop effective advertising strategies. As a licensed company, we engage with a range of intellectual properties, including major sports organizations like MLBPA and NCAA, and music entities such as Control Industry and Iconic Artist Group. This variety forces us to adapt continuously to different audiences and niches, ensuring we deliver a memorable product shopping experience both online and offline.


Beyond our digital initiatives, our strategy extends to leveraging our digital presence in traditional brick-and-mortar retail settings. Establishing an online community is crucial not just for direct sales, but for holistic online branding that influences retail shoppers as well. Our interns will gain insights into the importance of multi-channel marketing and how we creatively leverage these channels to establish and strengthen our brand presence in both digital and physical marketplaces.


This program is designed to equip interns with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in digital commerce and marketing, preparing them for a successful career in this fast-evolving field
