The goal of this project is to design and develop an interactive prototype that defines the platform’s layout, navigation, and user interactions before full development.
Students will engage in user experience research, wireframing, and prototyping using industry-standard tools to create an intuitive and seamless interface. Their work will serve as a critical foundation for future front-end development, ensuring the platform aligns with both user needs and business goals.
This 60-hour project is structured for full flexibility, allowing students to manage their schedule within program guidelines.
Students will be responsible for delivering a fully designed and interactive prototype, which will demonstrate the core user experience of the platform. Specific tasks include:
- User Experience (UX) Design – Define user flows and key interactions to ensure seamless navigation.
- Wireframing & Prototyping – Develop structured wireframes and an interactive prototype using Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or another suitable tool.
- User Interface (UI) Design – Establish visual consistency, navigation structures, and core design elements.
- Usability Testing & Iteration – Gather feedback, refine designs, and optimize usability.
- Collaboration with the Back-End Team – Align the prototype with platform capabilities and business goals.
Deliverables for This Project
At the end of the project, students will submit:
- A high-fidelity, interactive prototype that showcases the core user experience of the Indigo platform.
- A wireframe document outlining key page layouts, navigation flows, and design rationale.
- A usability testing summary (optional) with insights gathered from testing and any proposed refinements.
