Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

We have developed a music education app called Bootle Band that is currently available on the Canadian Apple App store. We aim to launch this app in the US App Store and would like to develop a detailed marketing plan and campaign to help with this launch. 

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

Specific tasks for this project include:

  • Develop a comprehensive marketing plan that includes a budget, timeline, and strategies for reaching the target market.
  • Coordinate with hospital communications department and Commercialization Office to create a marketing campaign that includes digital marketing tactics.
  • Create marketing assets/materials
  • Develop a plan to measure the success of the campaign.
  • If time, evaluating the results of the campaign and making recommendations for future improvements.
How will you support learners in completing the project?

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

  • Information about our products/services.
  • Information about are target market
  • Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
About the company

The internationally recognized Bloorview Research Institute (BRI) is dedicated to improving the lives of children with disabilities through client and family-centred rehabilitation research. The BRI is housed in Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, Canada’s largest pediatric rehabilitation and continuing care teaching hospital, which is fully affiliated with the University of Toronto.
