What is the main goal for this project?

We want students to help us develop a marketing strategy to grow and engage our target market. We’d like to know how we can maximize different channels and what will work best for us.

The main questions we’d like students to help us answer are the following:

  • How should we promote our company?
  • What social media channels should we utilize?
  • What budget is appropriate for advertising?
  • What messaging should we use?
What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

1.Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to understand the target audience, competitors, and industry trends.
  • Analyze current website and social media performance metrics to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.

2.Strategy Development:

  • Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with company goals and target audience preferences.
  • Define clear objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and success metrics to measure the effectiveness of the strategy.
  • Determine the most suitable channels and platforms for reaching the target audience, considering factors such as demographics, behavior, and preferences.

3.Content Creation:

  • Create engaging and relevant content for the website and social media channels, including blog posts, articles, infographics, videos, and visuals.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging, branding, and tone of voice across all content pieces.
  • Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and reach.

3.Social Media Management:

  • Develop a content calendar for social media posts, considering the optimal times and frequencies for posting.
  • Create and schedule social media posts across various platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and others.
  • Engage with the audience by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

4.Campaign Execution:

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and contests to drive traffic, generate leads, and increase brand awareness.
  • Monitor campaign performance and make necessary adjustments based on real-time data and insights.
  • Collaborate with the design and creative team to develop visually appealing and compelling campaign assets.

5.Analytics and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze website and social media analytics using tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and Twitter Analytics.
  • Generate regular reports to track key performance metrics, evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize strategies, refine tactics, and drive continuous improvement.

By completing these tasks effectively and efficiently, the learner will contribute to the successful implementation of the marketing strategy across your website and social media channels, ultimately driving brand visibility, engagement, and growth.

How will you support learners in completing the project?

Students will work closely with the primary project manager who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary.
