The project aims to address the issue of waste management by transforming discarded materials into a captivating art installation. The goal is to educate and engage the public on the importance of waste diversion and sustainable practices. Learners will apply their knowledge of sustainable design and art techniques to create an installation that not only captivates but also informs. The project will involve researching sustainable art practices, sourcing waste materials, and designing an installation that conveys a strong environmental message. This project provides an opportunity for learners to explore the intersection of art and sustainability, fostering creativity while promoting ecological responsibility.
The primary deliverable is a completed art installation made from waste materials, ready for public display. Additional deliverables include a project report detailing the design process, materials used, and the sustainability message conveyed. Learners will also prepare a presentation to explain the concept and impact of their work, highlighting the educational aspect of the installation, and promoting this through social media in the avenue of hope theory.
