- What is the main goal for this project?

Objective
The objective of this project is to expand MyRide901 user interface options and enhance mobile app usability by implementing a Web App version of MyRide901 and refreshing the MyRide901 Mobile App UX/UI per existing/available UX/UI analysis/recommendations/prototypes such that the Web App and refreshed Mobile App are available for download by MyRide901 users by December 20, 2023.
User Stories
1. As a mechanic with a MyRide901 account, I want to have the option of interacting with MyRide901 from my computer desktop so that I can access/update shared service events from the same environment that I use for all my other customer & admin work.
2. As a vehicle owner with a MyRide901 account, I want to interact with MyRide901 from my computer desktop so that I have the flexibility to access/update shared service events from the same environment that I use for other apps.
3. As a MyRide901Mobile App User, I want to use existing features via a more intuitive user interface so that I can get maximum value from the app with minimal time investment.
- What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

UX/UI designer, MyRide901 Web App
· Design the Web App’s look & feel using images, logos, color schemes, animation, fonts, etc.
· Apply graphic design skills to create web wireframes and prototypes as input into Web App front end development
Front-end developer, MyRide901 Web App
· Design the visible layout of the web pages and add graphics based on customer journeys in the existing MyRide901 Mobile App
· Build the client side / user interface of the MyRide901 Web App

All learners are supported in a highly-collaborative environment by a combination of experienced business and technical resources within the MyRide901 Team, including the Product Manager & Scrum Master, Architect & Back End Developer and HR & Operations. We continuously look for opportunities for learners to gain experience in a safe environment while imparting real-world experience we have within the team.
- What skills or technologies will help learners to complete the project?

UX/UI designer
· The designer should have a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, ensuring that the web version caters to the needs and preferences of MyRide901 users.
· Proficiency in creating wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize and test design concepts before implementation.
· Given that the web version will be accessible on various devices and screen sizes, the designer should be skilled in responsive design to ensure a consistent and optimal user experience.
· Design Tools: Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar design software for creating mockups and prototypes.
· Usability Testing Tools: Tools like UserTesting or Optimal Workshop for conducting usability tests.
· Responsive Design Frameworks: Knowledge of responsive design frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation.
Front-end developer
· Proficiency in HTML and CSS for creating the structure and styling of web pages and mobile app interfaces.
· Knowledge of JavaScript to enhance user interactions, handle user input, and implement dynamic features.
· Expertise in responsive design principles to ensure that the web version and mobile app are compatible with various screen sizes and devices.
· Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js for building interactive and dynamic user interfaces.
· Knowledge of mobile app development for iOS and Android (knowledge of Flutter is nice to have) can be beneficial.
· Front-end Frameworks: Knowledge of frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
· CSS Preprocessors: Proficiency in using CSS preprocessors like Sass or Less for more efficient and maintainable styling.
· Responsive Design Frameworks: Frameworks like Bootstrap, Foundation, or Material-UI.
· API Integration: Familiarity with integrating front-end interfaces with back-end services and APIs for data retrieval and storage.
· Mobile App Development Tools: Knowledge of development tools and platforms for iOS (Swift or SwiftUI) and Android (Java or Kotlin). Knowledge of Flutter is nice to have.
