Details

D & S Horse Ranch and Rescue is seeking to enhance its visibility and public awareness through strategic media outreach. The goal of this project is to develop a comprehensive media outreach plan that targets local news outlets, bloggers, and social media influencers. By increasing media engagement, the organization aims to attract more visitors, volunteers, and donors to support its mission of rescuing and rehabilitating horses. The project will involve researching potential media contacts, crafting compelling outreach messages, and proposing a timeline for engagement. This initiative will allow learners to apply their knowledge of communication strategies and media relations in a real-world context, while also contributing to a meaningful cause.

Deliverables

The project deliverables will include a detailed media outreach plan that outlines target media contacts, proposed messaging, and a timeline for engagement. Additionally, learners will create a template press release and a list of potential blog topics to pitch to bloggers.
