What is the main goal for this project?

The problem Elifa aims to solve is that people do not think about what will happen when they or a loved one dies. As a result, families face a number of challenges when a loved one dies, including:


- Finding out whether end-of-life arrangements have been made.

- Conflicts arising from differing opinions about the deceased's wishes.

Elifa's plan is to solve this problem - through our secure digital vault where individuals can plan and protect their personal, financial and legacy end-of-life and legacy plans. The platform facilitates sharing and meaningful conversation between family members, reducing the potential for conflict and providing peace of mind.


We have not yet launched but would like to explore ways of raising awareness and positioning Elifa with our potential customers. We would like to use the video for our social media, website and emails. We would like to work with students to create an animated video explaining our services. 


Familiarising themselves with our company's target market, brand guidelines, products and services.

Developing a storyboard and animating scenes for the video.

Selecting appropriate background music.

Combining visual and audio elements to create a finished video.

Suggest ideas for future marketing videos.

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

  • Creation of a storyboard and animated scenes
  • Selection of suitable background music
  • Creating a finalized video
  • Recommending ideas for future videos

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

  • Our current brand guidelines
  • Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
What skills or technologies will help learners to complete the project?

In order to complete this project, students can self-teach, but it is beneficial to be familiar with:

  • Animated video production

Again, students can complete this project without any of the prior knowledge listed here. Students will be expected to research and learn more about the above as the project goes along.
