The project seeks to leverage the learners' knowledge of digital marketing, consumer behavior, and event planning. By focusing on Vancouver's unique cultural and demographic characteristics, the campaign will aim to resonate with potential users and encourage them to join the StellaEats waitlist. The project will provide learners with practical experience in developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy within a defined timeframe.
Project Description:
This project invites interns to lead a targeted waitlist growth campaign in Vancouver to support StellaEats’ July 1 launch. StellaEats is a purpose-driven food marketplace focused on safe, culturally aligned food access for Canadians with dietary needs. Interns will strategize and execute digital outreach while having the opportunity to organize local awareness efforts like tabling, vendor collabs, or poster QR campaigns.
Key Tasks & Scope:
- Design and implement a Vancouver-themed campaign
- Create and schedule shareable content (Reels, IG Stories, TikToks)
- Engage with local foodie groups and health communities
- Outreach to micro-influencers, local shops, or cafes for flyer/poster placement
- Track waitlist conversions and engagement analytics
Creativity Bonus Track: Local Awareness Activation
- Host a StellaEats info table on campus or at a local event
- Set up a community bulletin poster with QR signups
- Coordinate with a vendor or wellness shop for in-store visibility
- Share event recap (photos, outcomes, materials used)
Final Deliverables:
- Waitlist sign-up report (target: 500+ in Vancouver)
- Campaign asset bank (designs, captions, videos)
- Engagement tracking spreadsheet
- Short reflection report
- (Optional) Outreach event recap w/ visuals
