Social Media Campaign Project (1 Month)
The Autism Waitlist provides resources, tools and training to parents who are on an autism waitlist. The Social Media Campaign for this project will involve the creation of social media content following a social media content plan tailored to parents who are on an autism waitlist. This particular social media campaign will be for Autism Acceptance Month in April. By the end of the project students will be required to create specific social media content as outlined in the social media plan. A brand deck will be provided illustrating brand colours, fonts & language. Example Outcomes: (to be clarified in our initial meeting) 4 pieces of blog content 15 TikTok videos 15 instagram posts/carousels including graphics (utilizing templates)Repurpose content --> repurpose content to Pinterest & Linked In (from blog, Tik Tok and Instagram content)
Autism Waitlist Intern
The Autism Waitlist currently provides resources, tools and training to parents who are on an autism waitlist. The Autism Waitlist Intern will engage in participate in workshop development, community engagement & relationship building, as well as staff orientation processes.Project Priorities: Support & develop family engagement initiatives (participate in workshop development for parents on an autism waitlist & training to run workshop)Build relationships with community (engage in outreach with community partners, build relationships, virtual workshops & collaborations)Facilitate staff hiring/retention helping families hire staff to work directly with their children (assist with interviews/orientation, create orientation documents)Other Project Aims: Creating resources & teaching materialsSupport policy revision/development/implementation (i.e. develop agency policies on onboarding families & increasing parent success)Newsletter/social media/digital portfolios for children & families

The Autism Waitlist currently provides resources, tools and training to parents who are on an autism waitlist. The Autism Waitlist Research Assistant will engage in research and writing tasks in their areas of interests in relation to the parents needing support. Academic Writing (Including writing of chapters, books or articles targeting an academic population)Content and/or Literature Review (Including identifying key and/or summarizing key academic papers, or finding content for programs/websites/apps)Other related tasks

Autism Waitlist International Expansion Assessment
The Autism Waitlist is currently focused upon the development of resources and programs within Canada. The aim of this project would be to assess international expansion. Specific goals: Identifying which international market to enter (including a market entry strategy). The company has considered future expansion into USA and UK but would be looking for an evaluation into if these are the most beneficial markets to enter and a strategy planIdentifying potential international partners for international expansion, and providing a brief strategic overview.Preparation of a business model canvas or lean canvas for proposed market entry and presentation plan for investors.
Graphic Design (promotional materials)
The Autism Waitlist provides resources, tools and training to parents who are on an autism waitlist. There are 2 outcomes to this project: 1. Promotional Rack card (i.e. postcard/rack card in regards to an event)2. Promotional rack card/pamphlet for a program (1 or 2 sided rack card)** A brand deck will be provided illustrating brand colours, fonts & language. Timeframe: 4-6 week project to be completed for end of February
