Market Research - Fundraising Sources in West Edmonton
We are looking at diversifying our fund development sources. We need to find more ways to develop funds for our charitable non-profit. As part of this process, we need to analyze and evaluate the associated risks with a variety of fundraising efforts. This project would include market research and business-to-business research in attempts to identify key opportunities for Kids On Track. Surveying of various local businesses would be useful for understanding brand recognition, willingness to donate, willingness to sponsor, etc. Various fundraising activities they could evaluate are city-wide trivia nights with local restaurants or bars, gala-format evening events, online engage events, seasonal events and the role of business, and others. How does a small non-profit stand out in a market where there are big players like the Stollery, for example.

Research questions: What are the current needs and barriers among individuals/families who have previously participated in Kids on Track programming? What kinds of programs, services, and/or resources would help to address these barriers and meet the needs of these individuals? Research participants: Individuals/families who have previously participated in Kids on Track programming. These participants reside in West Edmonton communities.
Product-Market Fit for a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) SaaS Product

We need help with identifying the best path forward to the product-market fit. This project will be successful if a sound product positioning & growth strategy is created, backed up by research and data analysis. The primary project requirements include: 1. Analyze the current landscape of our product and its viability in the marketplace. 2. Create a strategy on the best positioning for our product. 3. Draft a growth path forwards the product-market fit. This is an exciting time to join us because: The RPA space is super hot and holds a huge promise. Streamlining and automating work processes is a highly sought after skill right now. Every phase of this project is highly visible and impactful. Students will work directly with the company's CEO. Their work will inform and guide the product's positioning and growth trajectory. Students will receive a detailed accomplishments record and a recommendation to give to future employers.
