What is the main goal for this project?

To develop core skills and competencies in journalism, specific to field correspondence and long-form narrative development with corroborated news sources.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?
  1. Understand the role of a field correspondent
  2. Report, corroborate and publish (2) local news stories
  3. Develop and align with Logos team on long-form news story outline and key messages that tie in with previously published local, on-location, corroborated news stories
  4. Publish feature-length narrative to the Logos platform; measure story traction post-publishing by measuring against target of 25 new author subscribers
  5. Report out to Logos team on key learnings and project outcomes
How will you support learners in completing the project?

Mandatory weekly alignment and project stewardship with internship director, skills development with associated Logos FT staff.

The team here at Logos is building a platform to report and amplify news that you think is important, and allow your local community to verify that news in real-time. Logos is a news platform built on four key pillars.
