- What is the main goal for this project?

Positions available: one team of up to 12 students
Term: Up to 8 weeks starting as soon as possible
We’re looking for UX/UI talent! Do you have a background or interest in user experience design or user interface design?
We’d love to see what you would do with our flagship web-app. Put yourself in the shoes of a user experience designer working for our company, and give this page a complete refresh.
If you were redesigning this page to increase conversion rates, visual appeal, clarity, and customer delight - what would you change?
This can include adding or removing elements from the page, adding interactive or animated features, changing the customer journey from this page, and/or completely redesigning the look and feel.
Outcomes
Your challenge submission can be an interactive mockup, flat wireframes, a functional website, a photoshop file - whatever gets your vision across.
- What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:
- Familiarize themselves with our existing product
- Familiarize themselves with a design tool of their choosing and understand how it works. We strongly recommend Figma.
- Design and build inside of the design tool all the needed screens for a redesigned prototype of our product
Bonus steps would include:
- Conducting any sort of user testing on the prototypes to ensure ease of use and to collect user feedback.
Final deliverables should include
- The design screens and all assets in a shareable format
- A presentation as stated above of the final designs

Constant supervision and mentorship from our Director of Product and Management team. Access to relevant online courses.
- What skills or technologies will help learners to complete the project?

In order to complete this project, students can self-teach, but it is beneficial to be familiar with:
- Industry design tools such as Figma or InVision
- Up to date design philosophy standards
- UX / UI design experience
- Human computer interaction concepts
Nice to haves for students include
- User testing strategies
Again, students can complete this project without any of the prior knowledge listed here. Students will be expected to research and learn more about this above as the project goes along.
