What is the main goal for this project?

The COVID-19 pandemic has created global concerns for sustainable health, complicated by

reduced food security and hampered supply chains. These changes are cost prohibitive to

most and poses a state of unrest which has consumers seeking and applying new measures

to stay healthy at home, work, and in the community.


The main goal for this project is to assess the benefits of Aqueous Ozone in Canadian homes and small businesses, compare it to popular cleaning or sanitization products, and position it

as a subject of interest for research project funding.

This will involve seven related outcomes:


  1. Researching and analyzing the benefits of Aqueous Ozone in Canadian homes and
  2. small businesses.
  3. Comparing Aqueous Ozone to popular cleaning or sanitization products.
  4. Assessing the effectiveness of aqueous ozone versus other hand sanitizers such as
  5. Rubbing Alcohol in killing SARS-CoV-2 /COVID-19 / SARS-CoV-1.
  6. Evaluating the associated costs for each solution while our product is an on-demand
  7. Developing a proposal to position Aqueous Ozone as a subject of interest for research project funding.


The proposed partnership project addresses a critical aspect of public health by seeking alternatives to chemical sanitizers. Interns can take pride in contributing to solutions that promote cleaner and healthier living environments, which is especially relevant in today's

health-conscious society.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:


- A comprehensive report on the benefits of Aqueous Ozone in Canadian homes and small businesses.


- A comparative analysis of Aqueous Ozone versus popular cleaning or sanitization products.


- An assessment of the effectiveness of Aqueous Ozone versus other hand sanitizers in killing SARS-CoV-2 /COVID-19 / SARS-CoV-1.


- An evaluation of the associated costs for each solution.


- A proposal to position Aqueous Ozone as a subject of interest for research project funding.



Final deliverables:


- A final report including all research findings, comparative analysis, and proposal for research project funding.


- A 30 to 45 minute *(Minimum) presentation explaining all research and findings from the

report.


How will you support learners in completing the project?

My goal is to create a supportive and conducive environment for learners to successfully complete projects, fostering a positive learning experience and career exploration.

I would accommodate the learner/s by gifting our CleanTech products for their experimentation and personal use.I will also do my best to ensure project guidelines are clear

  2. Mentorship and conversations to guide and learners
  3. Training workshops and memberships to support digital learning
What skills or technologies will help learners to complete the project?

In order to complete this project, students can self-teach, but it is beneficial to be familiar with:


- Research and analysis skills.


- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitization products.


- Understanding of scientific and medical terminology.


- Proposal writing and presentation skills.



Nice to haves for students include


- Knowledge of environmental science and public health.


- Experience in grant proposal writing. Presentation of hypothesis and conclusions

About the company

In light of current environmental challenges, numerous studies have revealed alarming levels of contaminants in our soil, food, and water, posing significant threats to our health. Motivated by this, our journey to reduce toxic loads and promote sustainability took root.

While scientific and clinical documents highlight over 100 benefits and uses for ozone technology, the existing machines are often expensive, bulky, and primarily tailored for agricultural, industrial, and clinical settings. This limitation left us feeling both frustrated and concerned.

The pivotal question arose: "How can we effectively eliminate contaminants and toxic loads from our daily essentials, such as food and water?" The answer emerged in the form of Aqueous Ozone – a safe, daily-use ozone water solution that can be applied in occupied spaces. Not only does it showcase remarkable efficiency in water and food sanitization, but medical and FDA reviews have also underscored its effectiveness in eradicating and controlling SARV-CV19.

In response to this need for accessible and sustainable solutions, ClearAir Device was established in October 2021. Our primary goal is to empower everyday individuals to harness the cost-saving benefits of ozone purification (O3) as a powerful tool to combat contamination in their health and living spaces.
