Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

Generate leads and website traffic for 50+ seniors. To introduce them to a virtual program that will slowly bring them back to strength, balance and flexibility.

Social Media Tips might include:

  • Standing and sitting from a seated position
  • Getting in and out of the car
  • Strength to carry grocery bags easily
  • Breathing techniques (working your core muscles from the inside out)

This is a program for both the people who have a difficult time with the list above; but also those who are realizing they are losing muscle mass and flexibility.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

Understand the importance of movement, especially in the older community.

Reach out through social media to those over 50 who are in need of movement classes, those under 50 who have parent or grandparents who may need the classes.

Establish a formal process to continually bring in new clients.

Know how to use Canva to design social posts.

Track results on a weekly basis, and suggest changes to social posts.

Posting to Facebook and Instagram.

Know how to use scheduling tools. i.e. Meta Planner, Buffer, Hootsuite.

About the company

The company goal is to change the paradigm of aging. To help those 50 and older set an example for their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The paradigm is beginning to change, but there are millions out there who still remember their parents and grandparents retire, find a cozy rocker and wait for the inevitable, this is the paradigm we are helping to change. To make exercise fun and incorporate it into daily chores. To help those 50 plus understand they need to keep moving to remain independent, and free. That everything you do each day can be looked at as movement, and how to enhance those movements to keep you strong, balanced and flexible. Currently virtual, eventually adding locations.
