JonAyves Learning Club is committed to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment for young students. The goal of this project is to develop a set of diverse and culturally representative learning materials for students in grades 1 through 5. These materials will focus on reading, mathematics, spelling, and reading comprehension, ensuring that students see themselves reflected in their educational resources. By incorporating diverse characters, stories, and examples, the project aims to enhance students' engagement and understanding. The project will involve researching existing educational materials, identifying gaps in representation, and creating new content that addresses these gaps. The final materials should be age-appropriate, engaging, and aligned with educational standards.

Deliverables

The project deliverables will include a comprehensive set of learning materials that cover reading, mathematics, spelling, and reading comprehension for grades 1 through 5. These materials will consist of illustrated storybooks, math problem sets, spelling exercises, and reading comprehension activities. Each deliverable will be designed to be inclusive and culturally representative, ensuring that students from diverse backgrounds can relate to and benefit from the content. The final deliverables should be ready for classroom use and include teacher guides for effective implementation.

JonAyves Learning Club is seeking passionate and knowledgeable Personalized Learning Instructors to join our team.

We work with children in diverse and underrepresented communities to ensure their success in education.

As a Personalized Learning Instructor, you will have the opportunity to connect with students on an individual level, understanding their unique learning styles and interests, and helping them enjoy the learning process.

This is a remote position, offering flexible 15, 20 and 30-minute sessions, and you can work from anywhere. We value connecting with students and providing them with the tools they need for their educational journey.
