What is the main goal for this project?

We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization.

As a Marketer, you’ll be responsible for the development and execution of Campertunity's marketing campaigns to boost its promotional efforts. Your goal is to recognize our target audiences' needs to join Campertunity and grow Campertunity's profits by increasing sales.

Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:

  • Write blog articles and send email newsletters to our two target audiences: campers and hosts
  • Do weekly social media posts (FB and Instagram)
  • Be on top of upcoming events and promote them on social media in relation to Campertunity
  • Reach out to like minded companies for partnerships and cross promotions
How will you support learners in completing the project?

You'll be working in a team that includes a digital marketer and hosts on boarders whom you can ask questions and bounce ideas off of. This will include occasional meetings (you will work remotely).

About the company

Campertunity is website that enables people to list, find and rent private land for camping for a processing fee.
Our goal is to get people outside by introducing camping to the shared economy. We promote healthy living, sustaining land, and agri-tourism by expanding camping capacity beyond existing campground facilities to private acreages and farms.
We are committed to providing a user friendly website wherein hosts can advertise and profit from renting their land, short term, to campers who want to browse camping availability in Canada.
The purpose of this business is to localize into one website the offering of a safe transaction environment between a host and guest(s). From the host’s perspective, this business will offer selling revenue at low risk activity. From the guests’ perspective, opening the opportunity to more camping space, which means increasing the market for camping, meeting the supply and demand need, and unlocking unique campsites.
